Math Tools
Trigonometry, right triangle solver, scientific calculator, and AI math problem solver.
Four tools for the maths that turns up in homework, exams and practical jobs like roof pitches and ramps: three calculators that work in your browser, and an AI solver that explains a worded problem step by step.

Which tool to pick
- Scientific Calculator: everyday expressions with brackets, powers, roots, logs and trig, typed the way you'd write them on paper. The memory keys hold a value between steps.
- Right Triangle Solver: you know two values of a right triangle, at least one of them a side, and need the rest. A ladder's reach from its length and angle is a typical case.
- Trigonometry Calculator: all six ratios for one angle at once, in degrees or radians, with the inverse angles and the radian conversion underneath.
- Math Problem Solver: a word problem or an algebra question where the method matters more than the number. It sets out each step so you can follow it.
Getting a right answer, not just an answer
Most mistakes in this kind of maths happen in the setup, before any arithmetic. Sketch the problem first: which angle is the right angle, which side is opposite the angle you know, and what units the lengths are in. The triangle solver labels its sides a, b and c and its angles A and B, so match your sketch to those labels before you type.
Then go from the specific tool to the general one. For a right triangle, the solver gives every side and angle in one go. If you only need a ratio, the trigonometry calculator is quicker. Anything else goes into the scientific calculator. Save the AI solver for when you can't see how to start, and check its steps with one of the calculators.

About Our Free Math Tools
Solve right triangles from any valid combination of sides and angles, work through trigonometric functions, run scientific calculations, and get step-by-step help with a worded problem.
The trigonometry, triangle and scientific calculators all run entirely in your browser — nothing is transmitted. The AI Math Problem Solver is the exception: your question is sent to our AI service to generate the explanation. Our own server doesn't store it or use it for training; if it's down, a backup AI provider may handle the request under its own policy.
For the AI solver in particular, check the working rather than just the answer. Language models make arithmetic and algebraic slips while presenting them confidently, so the step-by-step explanation is worth more than the final number — read it, and verify anything that matters.
