Frequently Asked Questions
Will the places it recommends still exist?
Check before you build a day around one. A language model works from training data with a cutoff, and restaurants close, museums renovate and attractions change their opening days. Verify anything you are travelling across a city for.
Does it know about closures and booking requirements?
Not reliably, and this is where itineraries fall apart. Many major attractions close one day a week and some now require timed tickets booked weeks ahead. Cross-check each fixed point against the official site before you commit the day to it.
What does 'Relaxed & Slow' actually change?
The number of things per day, mainly. The most common flaw in a self-planned itinerary is cramming, and the relaxed style plans two anchors a day instead of five — which is usually what people actually enjoy and rarely what they book.
Are the neighbourhood recommendations useful?
They are a good starting shortlist for where to base yourself, which is the decision that most affects a city trip. Check current character and transport links, since neighbourhoods change faster than most other travel information.
Should I rely on it for visas, vaccinations or safety?
No. Entry requirements, health requirements and travel advisories change frequently and carry real consequences if wrong. Use your government's official travel advice and the destination's official immigration site.
About Travel Itinerary Planner
The Travel Itinerary Planner produces a day-by-day plan for a destination and duration, shaped by a travel style, with neighbourhood recommendations, food suggestions and practical app downloads.
Where it helps most is structure and pacing. Planning a week somewhere unfamiliar means deciding how much fits in a day and in what order, and the usual failure is optimism — five attractions across a city that turns out to take an hour to cross. The style setting exists mainly to control that, and 'Relaxed & Slow' produces the trip most people actually enjoy.
The neighbourhood recommendations are quietly the most valuable output for a city break, because where you stay determines how much of each day you spend in transit, and it is the hardest thing to judge from outside.
Treat every specific as provisional. Opening days, prices, whether a place still exists and whether it now needs a timed ticket booked in advance are exactly what a model with a training cutoff gets wrong, and they are what wrecks a day. And never use it for visas, vaccinations or safety — those belong to official government sources. Your input goes to our own AI server over HTTPS, is used once, and is never stored or used for training. If our server is down, a backup AI provider may handle the request under its own data policy.
