Frequently Asked Questions
Is the crop destructive to my original file?
No — your original file is never modified. The tool creates a new PNG of the cropped region only.
Can I crop to exact pixel dimensions?
The crop area is drawn visually. For pixel-exact crops, use the Image Resizer after cropping to set exact dimensions.
Why does the output download as PNG?
PNG preserves full quality with no compression. If you need a smaller JPEG, run the result through the Image Compressor or Image Converter.
