How to Use PDF Delete Pages
- 1Drop a PDF into the upload area. A preview of every page appears.
- 2Click the pages you want to remove; they're marked in red. Or type them, e.g. '1, 3, 5-7'.
- 3Click 'Delete pages'.
- 4Download the new PDF. Its size before and after is shown.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are deleted pages really removed?
Yes. The new PDF is built from the pages you keep, so the deleted pages' text and images aren't in the file at all. (Some tools only hide removed pages, leaving their content readable to anyone who looks.)
Can I delete every page?
No. A PDF needs at least one page, so at least one has to stay.
Are bookmarks kept?
No. Bookmarks and fillable form fields belong to the document rather than its pages, and aren't carried over. The remaining pages look exactly the same.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. A password-protected PDF is encrypted, and the tool tells you so instead of producing a broken file. Open it in your PDF viewer with the password, use Print → Save as PDF to make an unprotected copy, and use that.
