About PDF Watermark
Adding a watermark to a PDF is the quickest way to mark a document as DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, or SAMPLE before sharing. Our PDF Watermark tool lets you customise the text, size, opacity, color, and angle, then applies it to every page instantly in your browser.
The watermark is drawn using pdf-lib's drawText function with the Helvetica Bold standard font. The diagonal 45Β° angle is the classic choice for confidentiality markings; horizontal placement works well for corner stamps or document labels. Opacity between 20β40% provides clear visibility without obscuring the underlying content.
